Highlights of this design

World-class drivers

The Veracity ST Monitors utilize the same RAAL ribbon tweeter and Seas W16 woofers as used in the Veracity ST floor-stdning speakers. Seas managed to squeeze a 6" cone in a frame size that is similar to their 5" Excel woofer. The result is more heft and weight in the bass department.

Front Porting

Provides for maximum flaxibility where placement is concerned making this a very versatile design.

Great Bass Response

The Seas W16 woofers can move a lot of air compared to a 5" woofer. In fact, bass heft and weight is very comparable to speakers using 7" drivers. So you don't have to sacrifice bass performance even though this is a smaller speaker a svelt 8" wide.

Stellar Imaging

Locate performers with pin-point accuracy. Excellent off-axis response means you'll experience an expansive sound stage as well.

The Story

A New Design is Born

As with many of our designs, this one started as a customer request. Chris wanted a monitor speaker that played relatively deep in a reasonably-sized cabinet. We were very happy with the results.

Frequency Response

Extreme Accuracy

Flat Response

As you can see in this frequency response plot, the Veracity ST Monitor design is extremely accurate with ruler flat response. You will hear the music EXACTLY as it was produced.

Phase Coherent

In addition to flat frequency response, the Veracity ST Monitor design is phase coherent in the crossover regions resulting in a speaker that images exceptionally well.
