Highlights of this design

World-class Drivers

The HT2-TL's feature some of the finest speaker drivers being made today. The RAAL ribbon tweeters have set a new bar for ribbon tweeters and the Seas Excel W18's are some of the most accurate and detailed drivers around.

Transmission Line Cabinet

Part of the magic of this design is the transmission line cabinet. Not only does this cabinet design allow the W18's to play down to 34Hz, it also results in a speaker that is more flexible in terms of placement near room boundaries.

Excellent Bass Extension

With bass extension to 34Hz, a pair of 7" W18 woofers allow the HT2-TL's to move a lot of air down low. And more air movement results in more heft and weight in the bass regions.

Excellent Balance

The HT2-TL's performance is stellar from top to bottom with a seamless integration between the drivers. There is simply nothing standing between you and your music.

Veracity HT2-TL

The Story

An Idea taken to the Next Level

Based on the phenomenal acceptance of the SongTower's and their transmission line cabinets, we wondered what would happen if we re-visited the Veracity HT2 design and developed a transmission line version of what was already an extremely fine speaker. The TL cabinets are based on the pioneering work of Martin King and the result is the Veracity HT2-TL, a speaker that far surpassed our already high expectations.

This design has it all. The world-class RAAL pure ribbon tweeter, a pair of Seas Excel W18's, a transmission line cabinet and, of course, an incomparable Dennis Murphy crossover design. It all comes together in a speaker with seamless integration from the extremely transparent top end to bass response down to 34Hz.

The Veracity HT2-TL's deliver crystal-clear transparency on the top end, extremely accurate midrange capable of resolving minute details in the source recording and, at the same time, delivers deep, musical bass...all with inaudible levels of distortion. What's more, it's imaging capabilities are difficult to put into words. That may sound too good to be true, but that is what we hoped for and the results exceeded our high expectations

Enjoy...

Frequency Response

Extreme Accuracy

Flat Response

As you can see in this frequency response plot, the Veracity HT2-TL design is extremely accurate with ruler flat response. You will hear the music EXACTLY as it was produced.

Phase Coherent

In addition to flat frequency response, the Veracity HT2-TL design is phase coherent in the crossover regions resulting in a speaker that images exceptionally well.

With the SongTowers, Salk Sound redefined the under $2k price point and now it looks like they are trying to do the same with the under $4k. The performance of the Veracity's is in a completely different league from other speakers I've heard in this, and higher price categories. With commanding bass, ruler flat response, and what is possibly the finest veneer I've ever seen on a speaker, it's hard to find something about the Veracity HT2-TLs to not like. You owe it to yourself to hear the Veraci

The simple fact that Jim named this series of speakers “Veracity”, really says it all. These speakers are true to the source in a way very few speakers can be, and they do so at a price point that is amongst the lowest I have seen for such outstanding performance.
