After the introduction of our V3's, we realized we needed a center channel to match. Since some early V3 customers had dedicated home theater systems (projection systems) and wanted a full-range 3-way center channel, that is what we designed.

In its standard configuration, the V Monster Center is not magnetically shielded (although it could be) and is side ported (on both ends of the cabinet).

We call it the "Monster" center channel because it is quite large. It measures 38" wide, 14" tall and 14" deep. And it creates a center channel image that justifies its name.

The driver complement starts with the LCY pure ribbon tweeter, a 4" Visaton midrange and a pair of 6.5" Visaton woofers.

This combination results in a formidable center channel. As indicated in this plot, the frequency response was ruler flat (within 1 1/2 db from 44Hz to 25,000Hz).

The V Monster Center's frequency response is 39Hz to 60,000Hz +/- 3db. It delivers crystal-clear transparency on the top end, extremely accurate midrange capable of resolving minute details in the source material and, at the same time, delivers deep, tuneful bass.
