a center channel to match
the Veracity HT1, HT2, QW or HT3

Due to the many requests we've received, the Veracity HTC center channel was developed to perfectly complement the Veracity HT1, HT2, HT3 and QW models.

For those who cannot use the vertically-oriented HT1, HT2, HT3 or QW models for center channel use, or require a shielded center channel for use with a direct-view television, the Veracity HTC is the perfect answer. (Those who can use an HT1, HT2, HT3 or QW for the center channel should do so.)

the design

  • - The Veracity HTC features the same basic drivers as the HT1 and QW. The only difference is that it utilizes a shielded version of the W18.
  • - Since a center channel is often backed up to the wall or installed in a cabinet, a ported design is not optimum. For that reason, the Veracity HTC was designed as a sealed speaker.
  • - The Veracity HTC was designed in the classic MTM alignment with a pair of shielded W18's and the incomparable G2 pure ribbon tweeter.
  • - Utilizing two W18's results in lower distortion and very clean and articulate midrange...very important, since all soundtrack dialog is generally panned to the center channel.
  • - The G2 version in the HTC features a rectangular faceplate. This was chosen to allow closer spacing between the W18's, resulting in a more uniform response in the horizontal plane. So no matter where you are seated, you will hear virtually the same response.
  • - Due to the fact that two w18's were used, this is a 4 ohm speaker.

In short, the HTC is a perfect compliment when either the Veracity HT1 or Veracity QW are used as left and right main speakers. The HTC will faithfully and truthfully render the highest quality sound your source equipment is capable of providing.

As Jerry Bix, owner of the first Veracity HTC reported, "It sounds great. Sometimes I have to pinch myself to think that I actually have this system."

Veracity HTC pricing

Normally, center channel speakers of this quality retail from $1800.00 to $2500.00 or more, depending on the finish. But because these are custom-crafted and you are purchasing direct, you can expect to pay considerably less. HTC pricing starts at $1599.00, finished in a standard veneer with a black satin lacquer front baffle.
