Jordan
The Jordan single driver features a full-range 5" driver
from the E. J. Jordan company of England. While somewhat costly, the Jordan
driver is considered one of the finest full-range drivers available.
There are numerous cabinet designs that can accommodate the
Jordan JX92S, including a number of transmission line designs. This particular
bookshelf configuration was designed by Dr. Jim Griffin and was the Open Class
winner at the DIY2001 in Atlanta. It features 3db of baffle step compensation
resulting in a sensitivity of approximately 85 db. The F3 is 55Hz.
While these speakers will not produce rock-concert volume
levels, they are extremely accurate and detailed. And since no crossover is
required, there is nothing to interfere with the quality of your audio.

The Jordan is ideal for either two channel applications in
small rooms, to home theater applications when appropriately combined with a
subwoofer and used as left, center, right and rear channels.

Normally, speakers of this quality retail for $1000.00 to
$1500.00 per pair, depending on the finish. But because these are custom
produced and you are purchasing direct, you can expect to pay considerably
