the story
After the introduction of the SoundScape 10’s,
12’s and C center channel, we set about to
create a monitor version that, among other
things, could be used as a surround speaker
in a SoundScape home theater set-up.
the plan of attack
The deisng starts with the same RAAL ribbon
and Accuton midrange used in the
SoundScape 10’s and 12’s. The same 7”
aluminum cone driver used in the SoundScape
C center channel is used as a woofer.
This means that the SoundScape M7 Monitor
is a perfect complement to SoundScape
speakers used in a home theater
environment. But this design also holds its
own very nicely when used as main left and
right monitor speakers, especially when used
with a subwoofer to augment the bottom end.

The SoundScape M7 Monitor is a true 3-way
stand-mounted monitor speaker featuring the
incomparable RAAL ribbon tweeter, an Accuton
midrange and a ported (front or rear) 7”
aluminum cone long throw woofer. The result is a monitor that lives up to the
SoundScape name.
