surround speakers for use with SongTower QWT's
With the introduction of the SongTower QWT's complete,
we turned our attention to matching surround speakers. The SongSurrounds are
available in two versions.
SongSurround I's
The first is a bookshelf-sized (8" wide, 13" tall and
10" deep) MT (midwoofer/tweeter) design (shown above) using the same CA15
midwoofer as in the SongTowers, coupled with the incomparable Hiquphon OW1 3/4"
tweeter. It is a perfect match for use as a surround speaker with the
SongTowers. Or, you could even build an entire 5 or 7 channel surround system
using only these speakers.
The SongSurround I's are priced at $895 per pair in your
choice of black satin, curly cherry, curly walnut, maple, mahogany or oak.
"Custom" versions can also be ordered with virutally any veneer/finish
combination you desire. Contact us for pricing on specific veneer/finish
requests.
 SongSurround II's
The second version is a slightly larger stand-mounted
MTM version. It is 8" wide, 18" tall and 12" deep and features a pair of CA15
midwoofers coupled with the Hiquphon OW2 tweeter. This is essentially the same
speaker as the SongCenter and is offered for those wanting higher sensitivity
and increased power handling for higher SPL applications.
The SongSurround II's are priced at $1495 per pair in
your choice of black satin, curly cherry, curly walnut, maple, mahogany or oak.
