highly-acclaimed reference monitor
 After the initial success of
the Veracity HT3, we set out to take it to the next level. Since an active
crossover would be required, we partnered with DEQX to develop the ultimate HT3
version.
PDC2.6P
The DEQX PDC2.6P lies at the heart of the HT3a system.
This unit allows us to create a crossover that time and phase aligns the
drivers and corrects for slight deviations in frequency response. But that is
just the beginning.
No matter how accurate is speaker is, once you place it
in your room, room modes take over and drastically affect the frequency
response, especially in the bass regions. Once this DEQX Calibrated™
crossover is created, you can measure your room response at the listening
position, and add additional correction. The result is near perfect response in
even the most difficult acoustical environments.
To top things off, this version of the DEQX unit
includes a pre-amp and remote volume control. Just add a digital source (or
analog if you prefer) and you are set to go.
 the packages
Since the DEQX active crossover functions occur before
amplification, this system will require six channels of amplification for a
stereo pair of speakers. So we offer three packages to suit your needs. The
first package consists of a pair of HT3a's and a DEQX PDC2.6P complete with a
mic calibration kit for in-room response analysis. You must supply six channels
of amplification for use with this package. The other two packages include
6-channel ATI amplifiers and all necessary cabling.
the amps
In order to provide a complete turn-key system, we are
offering two amplifier options - the ATI 2006 at 200 watts per channel and the
ATI 3006 at 300 watts per channel. Pakcages with the ATI amplifiers will also
include all necessary speaker cables and interconnects to interfact the DEQX
unit with the amplifiers and speakers.
