Veracity of the
month...
every so often this page will highlight a
truly unique "Special Edition" Veracity project...
September
About six months ago, we were in the development process
for a new Veracity 3-way design when Mike McGill contacted us. After discussing
the project with him, he indicated he wanted to purchase the very first pair we
built.
Of course, the very first pair of any speaker design are
normally prototypes, built with raw MDF cabinets. But since he was really
anxious to hear these new speakers, we spent a little more time and did these
up in African cherry with claro walnut front baffles.
off to KC
As soon as Dennis Murphy finished the crossover design
and we conducted extensive listening and port-tuning tests, these incredible
speakers were shipped to Kansas City. We were very sorry to see them go. Now
we'll have to replace them.
Happy listening Mike!

what's next?
I know I promised a pair of HT1's in cinnamon burl with
bosse pomele front baffles and a pair of macassar ebony HT1's with beautiful
claro walnut front baffles. But I'm currently going through withdrawal, so I'll
have to hold off on finishing these for a short while. I've got a new pair of
3-way Veracity HT3's I need to finish first...
Stay tuned...
