 August # 1
Every once and a while, I run across a batch of veneer
that is so special, I purchase it even though I have no particular project in
mind.
The first Veracity-of-the-Month for August was the
result of just such a buy.
Gordy Brodoway's HT3's
Gordy knew he wanted walnut HT3's, but did know exactly
what variety he preferred. He was considering curly walnut, claro walnut or
anything else I might be able to show him.
Burled Walnut
I just happened to get in a really nice batch of burled
walnut with some handsome patterns. I liked it so much, I had already started
working on a pair. When I finished applying the first coat of finish, I shot a
picture and sent it Gordy's way. When he saw it, the decision was made.
Gordy also decided to go with the Sonicap upgrade so
these speakers sound as sweet as they look!
