HT3

April # 1

The Story

Jordan Lambrecht wanted dramatic burled walnut. Burled walnut veneer large enough for HT3's is hard to come by. But I had just enough for these and a matching center channel.

He also wanted Claro walnut front baffles. Again, it is hard to come by boards large enough, but we did mange to find one.

The veneer was had a very striking grain pattern along with some nice figuring. And, of course, the claro walnut had a nice colorful grain pattern as well.

HTCThe matching center channel features four ebony-like inserts in the four corners of the cabinet. These are actually coving magnets that were inserted after the fact so that we could attach grills to the center channel without using ugly grill stand-offs.

What's next?

How about some non-conventional subs! Stay tuned...
