Veracity of the
month...
every so often this page will highlight a
truly unique "Special Edition" Veracity project...
April
This pair of
Veracity HT1's was actually started quite some time ago. But I never got around
to finishing them until Bill Franklin saw a pair I did in burled redwood and
inquired about them.
Unfortunately, they were already sold. But fortunately,
I remember I had these and the color pallete was somewhat similar.
The holidays all over again
This was a very unique combination of veneer and wood.
The veneer is cinnamon burl and the front baffle is African bosse pommele - a
very attractive combination.
Working with them, it almost seemed like the holidays.
The cinnamon burl has a look that reminds me of boiling plum pudding and the
bosse smelled like cloves. Normally speakers are designed to sound good, but
these smelled wonderful as well!
Sometimes it takes a while to pull everything together.
These were a long time in the making, but definitely worth the wait.

what's next?
How about a pair of HT3's using this same bosse pommele
for the front baffle and trim. Ah, but what to match it up with...
Stay tuned...
