The Story
 Mark
and his wife Kristi recently paid a visit to both our shop and home to check
out the HT3's.
At the time, we had just finished a pair of HT3's with a
Mexican cocobolo front baffle and block mottled makore veneer. Kristi liked it
so much, she gave Mark the go-ahead to order a pair of HT3's and an HTC center
channel.
In talking it over, Mark and Kristi preferred a veneered
front with no solid wood baffle. But they wanted to retain the cocobolo
trim.
When I was looking for more block mottled makore, I came
across some really nice curly makore and Mark gave us the go-ahead to use it
instead.
The conbination turned out quite nice - very warm and
rich.
Kristi had the look she wanted and Mark commented, "Of
all the things I purchased in my life, not one was as enjoyable as this. "
